Draxion's Gauntlet
It's competition time again and this is hopefully one
that you can all enter and enjoy.
OK, here is the 'in character' background...
In our latest meditation, the Conduits of The Seekers of Intrinity
experienced a most disturbing vision. Statesman has been captured by the
Arch villain known as Tyrant and will be sacrificed if we do not act
quickly. This must not come to pass. It is fated that The Seekers of
Vengeance must defeat Statesman. Only then can Hell's Rage get his
revenge. Once revenge is his, we believe that Hell's Rage will return to
us and we can then crush Lord Baphamel and the Seekers of Vengeance once
and for all.
The vision showed us that a hero would emerge through internal combat
within the various Intrinity factions. Only with the help of this
champion would we be able to defeat Tyrant. This champion is a Nexus of
Power hidden in our midst. We must find this champion if we are to
succeed in our quest. For this reason, we must fight.....
In an unprecedented move, my opposite number in the Seekers of
Vengeance, 'Draxions Vengeance' has contacted me regarding a disturbing
vision of her own. Although she would not divulge any details, it
appears that she is also somehow aware of the destiny of Hell's Rage and
seeks to make it come to pass for her own agenda. For this reason she
will also be hosting a contest of strength amongst our villainous
counterparts to select the Nexus of Power that will fight alongside her
when the inevitable conflict with Statesman occurs...
First of all, the prize. There will be two winners, one hero, one
villain.
The Hero winner receives 1 million influence, a unique rank in their
supergroup called 'Nexus of Power' and an invitation to the Tyrant
mission alongside Draxion, (which for those of you who don't know, is
the mission where you fight at Statesman's side and get the Stateman's
Pal badge).
The Villain winner will get 1 million infamy, a unique rank in the
Seekers of Vengeance SG called 'Nexus of Power' and an invitation to the
villain mission alongside Draxion's Vengeance where you fight against
Statesman.
The contest is one of P v P in the Arena between all the members of the
various Seekers / Intrinity Supergroups. The Hero and Villain battles
will be separate.
Each 'toon' that enters will be placed into a league table, one for
heroes, one for villains that i will post on here. Every toon in the
contest will fight every other toon.
You get 3 points for a win
1 point for a draw
0 points for a loss
When everyone has fought each other, the victor from both heroes and
villains will be crowned.
To make it fair, if the two competitors are of a different level then
the highest level competitor will be exemped down to the level of the
lowest level competitor i.e. if a level 50 takes on a level 16 then the
level 50 toon will be exemped to level 16.
If you would like to enter this competition then either add their name
to this thread, let me know the name of your toon or toons at my in game
email (@Draxion) or send me a tell in game. I will add all the names of
the competitors to this thread as i receive them and I also charge
myself with keeping track of who has fought who so you will have to keep
me apraised of fixtures/results. I would like to aim for arranging
fights on weeknights when I have more time to devote to this.
